    About Webcast

Menopause and perimenopause are significant life stages that can have profound effects on workplace productivity and women’s career growth. Despite the growing recognition of the need for inclusive workplace policies, the specific career-related challenges faced by women in midlife are not adequately addressed. This webinar will present the results of a recent Aimed Alliance survey designed to explore how menopause-related symptoms impact women’s professional lives, how midlife health needs differ for men and women, and the extent to which organizations support their employees through health insurance and workplace accommodations.

Through an in-depth review of key survey questions, including the perceived career-related impacts of menopause, the professional appropriateness of discussing health in the workplace, and the coverage gaps in employee health benefits, this session will highlight how perceptions around aging in men and women may influence health care decisions. Attendees will gain insights into whether workplaces are actively creating menopause-friendly environments and what initiatives can reduce the stigma associated with discussing these health issues.

The webinar will not only present the survey data but also offer actionable strategies for employers to create more inclusive, menopause-friendly workplaces. This includes policies on health benefits, flexible work arrangements, and initiatives aimed at destigmatizing aging-related health discussions in professional settings.

By the end of the session, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the career and health challenges women face in midlife and a toolkit of best practices and actionable recommendations to ensure their organizations are equipped to proactively support women in the workplace. Join us as we explore these survey findings and discuss practical steps toward building more equitable and supportive workplaces.
